Roadmap: Catching up with a glimpse into the TradeStars future
Recap from our mainnet launch back in August. New features to come, DFS rewards, Fiat Deposists, Football and more.
It has been a wild ride for us since “Olympic Torch”, the Mainnet of TradeStars, was launched on 31st August 2021. Right from Day 1, our Play-to-Earn (P2E) game has witnessed a constant growth in user engagement, coupled with a steadily increasing flurry of Fantasy Stock trading.
The trading activity peaked during the 2021 Indian Premier League and the subsequent T20I World Cup. We held daily community campaigns, where participants won prizes in various categories by holding Fantasy Sports Stocks of the best performers of the day. These campaigns have been tremendously well received by the TradeStars community.
We also launched the TSX staking program on 2nd Dec. 2021, where users can earn more TSX rewards by simply staking their existing TSX stash. The current staking APY is 87%+. Till date, $1.44M worth of TSX has been staked by our community.

If you thought that was all, well, you couldn’t be more wrong.
We have a host of new features to announce to the TradeStars community, with the promise of making the game way more exciting and fun. Read on to know more about what we have in store for you in the updated TradeStars roadmap.
DFS Rewards
We are introducing more exciting Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) contests, where you’ll be able to use your sports knowledge not only to create a profit-making portfolio of Fantasy Stocks but also to win exciting daily rewards!
We had launched a series of community campaigns during the IPL and added more reward categories during the following T20 World Cup. With the new DFS contests, we will offer more TSX prizes, special edition NFTs and many other exciting rewards, but most importantly, we will provide the extra dose of thrill to keep you glued to your seats while watching your favourite players perform.
Introducing the Match Centre
We will introduce a “Match Centre” to display a host of information regarding ongoing tournaments and matches. Users will be able to see upcoming matches, current matches, players who will be performing in those matches, and so on.
We have been providing tips about players to watch out for in our Telegram channel regularly during match days. Now with the Match Centre, users will be able to easily find trending Fantasy Stocks and make sure that they don’t miss out on any players who might turn out to be match winners.
User Interface Improvement
We have been working round the clock on improving the TradeStars user interface. Some of the updates have already been rolled in, while the others are on their way.
- Default search order cards account for a certain percentage of unlocks (from 100% to 0%)
- Improved visualization of List items, half unlocked stocks in Search mode, and Unlock Modal
- Snippet display of unlock percentage and number of contributors
- An enhanced visual representation of the current contribution of users
- Easy access to the referral centre from the hamburger menu now
- TSX panel for staking
Introducing Football
TradeStars might have started out with Cricket as the sole sport, but we had always planned to include other popular Sports in our roster. Following the overwhelming response to Cricket, we’re excited to add Football as the second sport.
While Cricket is followed as a religion in some countries, Football has a bigger global fan base. The 2018 FIFA World Cup Final was supposedly watched by more than half the world! We’re sure that with the addition of Football, Sports lovers from all parts of the globe will hop on to TradeStars and enjoy the thrill of Fantasy Stock trading.
Most of our existing Cricket loving user base is also Football aficionados, and they will now be able to invest in the Fantasy Stocks of not only their favourite Cricketers but also their beloved Footballers. The addition of football will be followed by more Sports categories, which will be decided by community governance.
Enabling Fiat Deposits
We’re integrating fiat gateways to the TradeStars platform to further improve the user experience. Till now, users had to purchase TSX from secondary markets and deposit them to their in-game wallet before they could trade Fantasy Stocks. This might have seemed to be a technical barrier of entry for the not too crypto-savvy Sports fan.
With fiat deposits, users will be able to directly purchase TSX in the game itself through fiat payment, which can be then used to purchase Fantasy Stocks. Sports fans with zero knowledge of blockchain will now be able to easily join in the fun and enjoy the excitement that TradeStars offers.
This is just a glimpse of things to come. We have many exciting announcements in the works, including partnerships with leagues and players from different sports. We will have dividends, more in-game competitions, more currencies (both crypto and fiat) to trade Fantasy Stocks with, and many other cool new features.
