The demand for Salesforce skilled talent is HUGE… It’s time for you to get in on the action!

You can’t ignore the facts. Salesforce is the world’s number 1 CRM (customer relationship management) solution. And, according to a recent IDC study, the forecast for new jobs demanding Salesforce skills shows a huge increase from last year.

The numbers reveal that this demand is set to create 3.3 million jobs in the Salesforce ecosystem by 2022 — that’s a substantial leap from last year’s forecast of 1.9 million new jobs by 2020.

It’s no secret that technical skills continue to be in high demand in today’s job market. Businesses continue to rush headfirst to embrace the future of big data, IoT, and AI. No matter what your role, keeping up with rapidly changing technology is key if you want to land a new, or better, job.

Some pretty incredible figures

Just take a look at how hot Salesforce skills in particular, both technical and not, continue to be for those who can proudly showcase them on their resumes. Two of Indeed’s top 10 best jobs of 2017 were Salesforce-specific, with Salesforce Administrator ranking fourth and Salesforce Developer coming in sixth place.

And check out the pay these roles command. Salesforce administrator roles have an average salary of $95k, and Salesforce developer roles now pay an average salary of $125k — that’s 25% higher than in 2017. Salesforce-specific jobs that require advanced technical skills, such as Visualforce and Sales Cloud, can net more than $100k per year.

Plus, adding Salesforce skills to an AA degree opens up access to an extra 23,000 job postings, according to a Burning Glass report.

For every type of role

But it’s not just the admins and devs who reap the rewards. The bottom line is that Salesforce skills lead to competitive salaries, whatever your role. On average, jobs calling for Salesforce skills pay more than $70k per year.

According to Burning Glass, Salesforce is one of the top 10 digital skills that boost marketing careers. Not to mention the demand for data science and analytics talent is going through the roof! No longer just a buzzword, data science is an essential business tool.

For organizations looking to take advantage of big data, skilled and experienced analysts are becoming hot property, with predictions that more than 360,000 new business analyst jobs will be created by 2020.

This data is pretty incredible! Imagine landing an entry-level role and securing one of these competitive salaries. By developing and proving your Salesforce skills, you have the potential to start strong as you launch or grow your career in tech.
