Gamification is a core differentiator for Trailhead, making it the fun way to learn. And we continue to take gamification and learning to the next level with our newest project, MarsXP, a virtual interactive experience.

Developed for the advanced admin learner, the new MarsXP project gives you a series of objectives to accomplish, rather than a set of instructions guiding you through.

This approach allows you to walk through the scenario on your own.

Your mission? Diagnose and fix the Mars Rover from deleting key real estate listings and appointments so humans can continue moving to Mars, the hottest housing market.

You’ll learn real skills as you’re challenged with tasks, like setting up the security model and creating a process that includes an advanced formula, as you navigate through the game. Earning this badge is also great prep for your Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator exam.

MarsXP evaluates your knowledge in different ways with tests, tasks, and hands-on challenges. Clues and hints are hidden in the game that help point you toward the right solution.

Make choices and draw on your Salesforce knowledge successfully to move on. Collect all the coins to win a desktop background, and answer each question correctly to complete your mission, score a Chatter overlay, and win big!
