New Trailhead Features Make Learning More Connected Than Ever Before
Trailhead empowers anyone to skill up for the future of work. Now, we’re excited to announce new features to make learning more accessible for everyone.
With the launch of Trailhead, we saw an opportunity to do something incredible for the world. From the beginning, this opportunity was rooted in the mission of democratizing education — empowering anyone to learn in-demand skills that lead to top jobs.
We’re committed to ensuring everyone has equal access to learning and creating pathways to the jobs of the future. That’s why we’re introducing two new features that make Trailhead a more connected learning experience than ever before.
1. Introducing Discussion on Trailhead Live
At Dreamforce this year, we launched Trailhead Live, a reinvented classroom for the digital world that provides learners with live-streamed and on-demand, expert-led videos.
With Trailhead Live, we further reduced the barriers to learning by providing anyone access to Salesforce and Trailblazer Community experts from the comfort of their living room, for free.
We’re making Trailhead Live a more dynamic and connected learning experience by introducing Discussions, expert-led Q&A and live chat, into the live broadcasts.
With Discussions, viewers can ask experts direct questions on anything — from needing help on a certain module to diving into a broader concept to learning certification study tips — and get the answers they need during a live session. Plus, viewers can upvote other Trailblazers’ questions, ensuring the most sought after questions get answered.
Additionally, with Discussions, sessions can now include live chat capabilities, empowering viewers to connect with fellow Trailblazers. Share advice and experience, and get information and encouragement, for a brand new level of learning engagement. For example, during CodeLive sessions, attendees can interact as they move through the session.
2. The Classroom Experience Anywhere — Trailhead Live on the GO
With the launch of Trailhead GO, the iOS app for Trailhead, we opened a world of opportunity for anyone with access to an iPhone or iPad to learn in-demand skills and supercharge their career trajectory.
With 700+ modules covering tech, business and soft skills, and new microbadges — Quick Look badges perfect for mobile — Trailhead GO makes it easy to learn anytime, anywhere.
One of the biggest advantages of Trailhead GO is that learning never has to stop. Waiting in line at the grocery store, on public transit, at your kid’s soccer game, whenever you have 5 minutes to spare… Trailhead GO is there.
I’m thrilled to announce Trailhead GO has gotten even better with the addition of Trailhead Live. Now, anyone with the Trailhead GO app can access the power of Trailhead Live right from their mobile phone.
This is a major game-changer for anyone who may not have access to a computer. We believe learning should happen where you are, and that includes learning on Trailhead Live.
With this new addition, we’re taking your on-the-go learning to the next level by empowering you to learn from and interact with experts through livestream content on your mobile device.
This includes access to brand new Discussions on Trailhead Live. Plus with access to on-demand content, you can stream videos directly from the app, creating a dynamic learning experience on-the-go.
