Have you heard that electric buzz in the air? That’s the sound of us supercharging Salesforce with new purpose-built apps we call Salesforce Industries.

Introducing Salesforce Industries

Imagine you’re an energy retailer looking to transform the way you work with your customers. You need your business to thrive in the digital age and provide a digital-first, personalized customer experience.

But the way you do business as an energy retailer is very different from the way a bank or an insurance company does business, for example. You want all the goodness of Salesforce, but you want it to speak the language of your industry right out of the box. Makes sense, right?

That’s where Salesforce Industries comes in. Our industry solutions empower companies to digitally transform faster than ever before by providing applications that are tailored to their unique industry. In addition to the applications themselves, you’ll also get new tooling that allows you to build personalized, guided experiences for your customers.

And where there’s new tooling, there are new certifications to help you skill up.

Say hello to Salesforce Industries credentials

With more than 30 role-based certifications and 18 domain-based superbadges, we’re thrilled to expand the Salesforce Credentials program to now include three new Salesforce Industries credentials.

These credentials prove you have the skills needed to design and implement Salesforce Industries solutions in two specific domains: OmniStudio and Industries CPQ.

Note: These credentials have been migrated from Vlocity University to Trailhead. To learn more, check out this FAQ.

Get started with Salesforce Industries

You can get started with Salesforce Industries today by completing the foundational Get to Know OmniStudio trail. You’ll learn the ins and outs of OmniStudio, and you’ll also see how these tools are used to create beautifully frictionless customer experiences.

Certification prep resources on Trailhead

On your mark, get set, prep! Here are some resources you can use to get #CertifiedPro ready:

1. Review the Certification Exam Guides
Each certification contains an exam guide where you can find all of the resources you’ll need before you sit for your exam, including detailed exam objectives, relevant Trailhead modules, recommended training, and more.

2. Hit the trails on Trailhead
Trails are curated learning paths for you to take to study up on key concepts before sitting for your certification exam.

  • OmniStudio Consultant: Prep for this exam using the Get to Know OmniStudio trail.
  • OmniStudio Developer: Get started using the Get to Know OmniStudio trail above, and then dig deeper with the OmniStudio documentation and other resources in the exam guide. More trails to support this exam will be coming to Trailhead this summer, so stay tuned…
  • Industries CPQ Developer: Learn about Industries CPQ using the documentation, and check out the exam guide for even more resources.

3. Take expert-led training
Trailhead Academy expert-led courses will help you prep like a #CertifiedPro. We’ll be launching the following classes to give you all the hands-on practice you’ll need — and then some! Registration opens mid-April at Trailhead Academy. Questions? Contact the Trailhead Academy Team.

4. Join the Trailblazer Community
When getting Salesforce Certified, collaboration is key, and the Trailblazer Community is a great place to start. Engage in the community for help on the trails, join a Community Group in your area, find a study partner or mentor, and connect with other Trailblazers from around the globe with similar experiences and challenges.
