More hours in the day. It’s one thing everyone wants, and yet it feels impossible to achieve. Do a quick search on Google and you’ll find hundreds of articles offering “10 Tips to Create More Time in Your Day.” We’ve all tried these tips and tricks, and while they may save a few minutes, they don’t actually add time to your day.
But what if you could have a significant increase in free time — approximately 40 minutes — added to every day?
Introducing: Trailhead on Mars
Did you know that a day on Mars (called a sol for solar day) is roughly 40 minutes longer than a day is here on Earth? To help you harness that time, we here at Trailhead have decided to spearhead human settlement on Mars, providing each Trailblazer with an extra 40 minutes to earn Trailhead badges each day.

What you can do to help:
In order to prepare the settlement for human habitation by our goal date of 2020 we’ll need all hands on deck. Complete our latest project, Build a Mars Communication Uplink, to help Trailhead take the first steps towards life on Mars. With this hands-on project, you’ll use Chatter and Process Builder to communicate with the rover, all in Lightning of course!
And as a thank you for helping Trailhead get one step closer to space, if you earn the Build a Mars Communication Uplink badge and any other badge between now and May 15th you’ll be eligible* for a chance to win one of one hundred available $100 gift cards.
