Trailhead is the fun way to learn. With points, badges, puns, characters, and ALL the confetti, we bring the excitement and celebration every chance we get.

But what really thrills us about Trailhead is knowing that while you’re having fun, you’re learning skills that are in demand and lead to top jobs!

When we say TOP Jobs, we mean it. In fact, Indeed, the world’s #1 job site, just ranked Salesforce Developer as one of the top 10 jobs on its best jobs of 2019 list.

Today kicks off TDX ’19 and is the perfect moment to celebrate all of you — developers, admins, technologists, and newbies. As you come together in-person or at one of 175+ Global Gatherings, we want to announce new ways that you can learn, earn, and connect with Trailhead.

Trailblazer Connect

With Trailhead, we empower anyone to connect to the vibrant community of 1.4 million Trailhead learners, from mentorship all the way to employment. Now, we’re announcing an even easier way for you to land a top job with a new program called Trailblazer Connect.

Focused on providing direct pathways for anyone to land a job in the Salesforce ecosystem, Trailblazer Connect helps job seekers refine their soft skills and connect to employment.

At its core, Trailblazer Connect is made up of three pillars: career fairs and events; Trailblazer Mentorship — where you can connect with trusted mentors in the Trailblazer Community; and Talent Exchange — where you can share your resume with recruiters for jobs in your area.

With Trailblazer Connect, we hope to empower more Trailblazers to learn, earn, and connect to a successful career… and maybe even a better world.

New Responsible Creation of Artificial Intelligence Module

You’ve undoubtedly heard us talk a lot about the Fourth Industrial Revolution. But what does this really mean for all of us? By 2020, 1/3 of all in-demand skills that employers hire for will be new.

The demand to learn new skills has never been so high. Luckily, anyone can learn the skills needed to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution with Trailhead, which already offers content on Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Deep Learning, and beyond.

But we don’t think it’s enough for you to only learn the algorithms, data, and models that power AI and this new technology. Everyone involved in the creation of AI systems needs to understand the intricacies of AI bias and the impact it can have on end users, business, and society.

That’s why we’re launching a brand new module, Responsible Creation of Artificial Intelligence, to empower anyone to learn how to use and build AI in a responsible and trusted way.

We see it as our responsibility to provide you — employees, customers and partners, and Trailblazers — with the tools you need to not only skill up on AI but also understand how to use it safely.

Trailhead Simulator: Get Hands-On with Marketing Cloud

One major differentiator that makes Trailhead so powerful is that it lets you get hands-on with Salesforce technology and products for free.

Now, we’re so excited to announce Trailhead Simulator, a new simulation that gives you a dynamic walk-through of Marketing Cloud for the first time on Trailhead.

Trailhead Simulator differs from a Trailhead Playground because it doesn’t store your progress or the data you enter. And if you close the browser, you will be prompted to start from the beginning. But we make it easy for you to navigate throughout with simple arrow controls, to get you back to where you left off.

You can check out Trailhead Simulator in a brand new quick start project for Email Studio called Quick Start: Create and Send an Email with Marketing Cloud.

You’ll learn how to create a reusable email template and build, preview, test, and send the email to a selected list of customers.

Get hands-on with Marketing Cloud today.

Marketing Cloud Developer Certification

Salesforce Certifications are globally recognized credentials that are resume-worthy. By becoming Salesforce-certified, you’re showcasing your hands-on experience with Salesforce to current and future employers, giving you a competitive edge that leads to new opportunities.

As thousands of developers gather for TrailheaDX, we’re introducing a brand new certification that you can earn today: Marketing Cloud Developer.

This new credential will prove that you have hands-on experience developing for Marketing Cloud.

A natural next-step for those who are Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certified, this new certification lets you showcase your skills in developing dynamic, personalized marketing assets such as emails, landing pages, and forms leveraging HTML, CSS, and AMPscript. Plus, you’ll demonstrate your SQL expertise.

Read more about the new Marketing Cloud Developer certification, plus three other BRAND NEW credentials, and start (or build on) your #CertifiedPro journey today.

But Wait… There’s MOAR!

We love being on your learning journey with you and can’t wait to see how these new ways to learn, earn, and connect with Trailhead help you reach your next milestone.

But we wouldn’t be Team Trailhead without leaving you with one more surprise…

We just gave the Dreamoji app a makeover!

Now, with a brand new name, the Trailmoji app uses augmented reality to put dancing versions of Astro, Cloudy, and Codey in the room with you.

And Trailmoji just got even better with a new feature called myTrailmoji that allows you to customize Astro so that they reflect your personal style, hobbies, and interests.

Make Astro your own. Download the app from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store today.

Happy trails!
