New Trailmix Studio in Berlin headed up by Wooga veterans
We are beyond excited to announce that we have opened a second Trailmix studio in Berlin with the goal of growing our family of games!
Trailmix has come a long way in the past few years. We launched our first game Love & Pies, grew a team of 10 people to over 60 and learnt a hell of a lot along the way. One of the things we learnt is that our success so far is all down to the amazing people here at Trailmix. And to continue to build on that success it’s all about finding (more) amazing people — people who share the same purpose, values, and beliefs as ourselves. Well, we found some of those amazing people and knew we had to work with them.
We are thrilled to announce that Annelie Biernat and Christopher Parschat have decided to join Trailmix and open a Berlin studio for us. They are gaming industry veterans who both worked at Wooga for over 10 years, where they gained incredible experience in building unique casual mobile games that players love.
Annelie who worked at Wooga for 10 years has led multiple game teams including Pearl’s Peril and Switchcraft. She joins us as Studio Director in Berlin. Christopher joined Wooga in 2009 and helped grow the company and various games (including Diamond Dash and Switchcraft) from idea to scale. He joins us as Creative Director in Berlin. We strongly believe that they can greatly contribute to achieving our ambitions so we couldn’t be more excited to build a studio around their leadership.
In today’s mobile gaming landscape it is more important than ever to find an edge when it comes to distributing your games to the millions of players you want to reach. In opening a second studio in Berlin to work on new games we increase our ability to explore novel ways to delight our players.
Love & Pies has been bringing delight to our players for the last two years; we’re continuing to invest heavily into this premier merge 2 game and at the same time are now working on multiple new games which aim to serve our overarching purpose — to create delightful spaces where millions of people can flourish. The Berlin studio is therefore a great addition to our new games portfolio strategy and we can’t wait to see what this team will bring to life.
