Welcome to the recently launched Transformative Technology Milan Chapter!
We are beyond excited to further the reach of the TransTech community to a region that is so imbued with a sense of beauty, taste for design, attention to quality of life, and that is inclined to prioritise happiness at the center of the human agenda. We consider the genetic makeup of the Italian society — its attention to “good living”, beauty, and social proclivity, synched with fairly-paced lifestyles — organic to our goal of bringing shared transformation to humans. These lifestyle ideals are aligned with TransTech values for creating and sustaining conscious businesses and technology that support human flourishing.
Originally founded in Silicon Valley, Transformative Technology is a global community of entrepreneurs, innovators, academics, and investors building tech for mental health, emotional wellbeing, and human flourishing. We sit at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation. We leverage exponential technologies like AI, AR/VR/XR, networks and sensors, biotech, neurofeedback, robotics and more to build tech to enable human wellbeing at scale.
Our mission is to permanently move a billion people into a state of wellbeing and flourishing by 2030. A community of 1,000,000,000 people worldwide who choose to live up to their potential with their personal, professional, and social needs fully aligned. We’ve chosen this goal based on a UPenn research study, which found that it only takes 25% of a population to start a revolution and spread an idea to the rest of the world. To support our ambitious goals, we have a large TransTech ecosystem — including a start-up accelerator, an industry research lab, and an annual conference — that extends to 500+ cities and 80 countries worldwide.
The Milan Chapter aims to foster new connections and create strong synergies between European and global leaders in the TransTech industry, while incorporating the renowned Italian vision and creative excellence. Our goal is to bring together the best and brightest minds to facilitate insightful discussion, explore fascinating topics and the latest developments in tech, expand our consciousnesses, and find inspiration from each other.
