The late bird attendees, after two full days of TT experiences

We spend over 90,000 hours of our precious lives at work.

Work has been proven to be one of the main contributors to personal fulfilment, as well as foster financial and social prosperity.

This is a two-way process. As individuals, we will all need to know how to be mentally and emotionally healthy, we will all need to be resilient to adapt to massive change. As leaders, we will need to know how to bring out the highest levels of communication, creativity, and collaboration. And now, more than in any other era, we will need to help people connect to what they are most passionate about, and to define their purpose, so that they can bring that to the world as work.

With the purpose of designing new ways of leveraging technologies to enable mental health, emotional wellbeing, and thriving at work, Transformative Technology, in partnership with Deloitte, launched last month its first Transformative Tech European Conference in Prague.

Our main goal with this event was to start a conversation between Enterprise, Transformative Tech and the broader community, to fully understand the future of work and how we can jointly create a work experience that supports human thriving.

For two full days, a community of Transformative Tech entrepreneurs, corporate executives and people who are passionate about using emerging technology gathered together to work together on redefining work to draw on human capabilities, see the unseen and address new opportunities, redesigning the work environment to create the virtual and physical environments, and management practices within those environments, to amplify impact, cultivate passion, and develop talent.

Sharing an unusual Death Over Dinner at Deloitte Offices in Prague

We have already hold 4 annual Transformative Technology Conferences, but this was quite an unusual TT event. Beyond the outstanding speaker series, the Europe community had the opportunity to connect in depth with each other and work on the main current challenges people are experiencing at work:

* How do you develop leaders to lead teams in a less predictable, flatter and more fluid ecosystem-based future?

* How do you ensure your people have a healthy work environment that primes them for high performance in a constantly changing world?

* How do you provide your talent the experiences and opportunities to do their best work and unlock their potential over time?

We used the Deloitte Design Sprint format. A fast and focused format that enabled agile mindset and approaches to develop implementable initiatives, basic for the transformation outcomes that can turn to be actionable and provide the right solutions to thrive at work.

These sprints provided a friendly and collaborative atmosphere that connected people with similar passion together, gave the participants a chance to co-create the output through teams brainstorming sessions, and enabled them to get to know and work for two days with total strangers.

Everybody had also the chance to experience some of the latest technologies currently in the market, that can lead to a more Diverse, Healthy, Effective, Collaborative, Motivated, Resilient, Adaptable, Curious/Creative/Imaginative, Passionate and Constantly Learning workforce. Tripp, MUSE, Unmind and some more of the latest technologies in the market were part of the 1:1 demos.

The best reflection of how insightful this event was to our participants, are the testimonials they shared with us. Here are some of them:

“The TT community has exposed Unmind to a variety of senior decision-makers from both the public and private sector, alongside the opportunity to connect with like-minded founders around the world for advice, insight, and support. It’s a deeply passionate network of innovative leaders and consistently offers opportunities for both professional and personal growth.”

— Ry Morgan, Co-Founder at Unmind

“The people (diversity and passion), the design of the flow, the lens TT takes on Future of Work broad the spectrum of TT to the ‘shoots’ domain. Strong and new leadership is needed to nurture and govern mental health to unlock the human potential.”

— Maarten Oonk, Deloitte

“I was very impressed with the Sprint concept. I loved the spirit of collaboration and the process. It’s opened my eyes to many aspects of the current thinking about the work environment.”

— Catherine Ruckert, coach

How would it be for companies to have a happy, inspired and thriving workforce? The opportunities seem limitless when you have a healthy workforce developing their skills and working at the best and fullest of their ability.
