If there is one book of the Bible that I can’t get enough of it is the book of Romans. This particular book has defined the course of my life a great deal and I know that I am not alone.

Every time I step into the book of Romans, I am forced to take a long look at myself. I am challenged to see how I relate to God and how my relationship with Jesus is strengthened or where I am lacking.

The first time I read anything from Romans was years ago with this verse:

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is — his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1–2, NIV)

I have shared before the importance of this verse, but this was truly important for my development as a person and as a Christian. The older I get, the more I draw on this verse in my spiritual growth.

Recently, I have found myself drawn back to this book and want to share the things God is teaching me. And maybe, just maybe, He will connect…
