bimU.io Launcher is a middleware that exchanges data between bimU.io and BIM software. The latest version (2021.2.8.0) of bimU.io Launcher supports the following BIM tools. Click here to upgrade to the latest version.

Sync Viewpoint between Solibri and bimU.io
Solibri (formerly known as Solibri Model Checker) is a world-leading rule-based checker that analyses BIM models for integrity, quality, and physical security. bimU.io Launcher takes advantages of Solibri’s REST API to control its camera viewpoint and export data. Now you can embrace the “Open BIM” workflow by synchronising viewpoint between Solibri and bimU.io.
As shown in the screenshots below, it’s fairly easy to navigate to the same viewpoint in Solibri while reviewing a markup on bimU.io, and vice versa. To use this function, search for “Start Solibri” in the Start Menu that will launch Solibri with REST API enabled. Learn more here.
Bug Fixes
Here are some bug fixes and enhancements we’ve also made:
- Revit linked element type parameters can now be exported.
- Revit model group parameters are added to every element instance.
- Progress reporting is more accurate while uploading a model.
