Simplified Pricing Plans

It’s been a great couple of years since we launched bimU.io. We want to reassure you that we’re always striving to make your life easier when it comes to digital transformation and the adoption of bimU.io products. Today we’re announcing pricing and licensing updates to both bimU.io Viewer and bimU.io Agile. In order to make the platform more accessible, whether customers are getting started with a small number of projects and users, or just looking to take advantage of our Viewer and Database API, we are simplifying the pricing plans by consolidating the two products into one single subscription. This means you’ll have full access to both products as long as you have an active subscription.

Starting from January 2023, we’ll offer three subscription tiers: Free Trial, Premium, and Enterprise. See the table below for detailed comparison. In summary,

  • Free Trial — Always free and provides full functionality within the first 14 days after a model is uploaded to bimU.io Viewer, or a new channel (project) is created on bimU.io Agile.
  • Premium — Either billed monthly or annually at a reduced price. Everyone in your team has full access to both products until your active subscription expires. You can have unlimited BIM models on bimU.io Viewer. If you subscribe Premium Plan A, B, or C, you can have up to 1, 5, or 10 active channels (projects) on bimU.io Agile respectively.
  • Enterprise — Bespoke subscription with exclusive features, such as custom issue fields, custom deployment, custom branding, etc. Please contact us directly to get a quote based on your estimated usage.

More details around recurring subscription, such as billing cycle, payment methods, etc. will be announced in December 2022. Please stay tuned.

The new simplified pricing plans will take effect in January 2023

ISO 19650 Document Management

The “Files” module on bimU.io Agile is generally available now! If you’re already using Microsoft 365 and looking for a cost-efficient solution for project document storage, our “live” SharePoint integration is probably the easiest to adopt for information management of project documents, including compliance checking of document codes/attributes, automated revision increment, naming standard management, etc.

bimU.io Agile supports ISO 19650 compliant document management by using Microsoft SharePoint or Microsoft Teams as Common Data Environment (CDE). Please read our previous blog post for an introductory chapter and a detailed user guide below.

Manage Project Documents — bimU.io User Guide

Synchronise with Microsoft SharePoint/Teams document library
Upload files to SharePoint through bimU.io Agile and populate document attributes
ISO 19650 document attribute compliance check
Automatic revision number increment
Configure your own naming standard

Custom Issue Fields and Custom Plugins

We’ve also been helping our clients develop custom features on bimU.io Agile that enable further customisation on issue fields. It is now possible to define your own data attributes that can display as issue fields for storing additional metadata as needed. Furthermore, these custom fields can also be automatically populated with “live” BIM software data through bimU.io’s custom plugins. Please contact us if you’re interested in any tailor-made functionality or any idea you want us to develop for your projects.

What’s More?

bimU.io Team is working round the clock on a number of new features that have been planned to release in December 2022, including

  • a new bimU.io Launcher supporting Autodesk 2023 products.
  • a new configuration on bimU.io Agile that can control if issues are visible to guest users based on issue statuses.

Please stay tuned!!
