Last week I came across a phrase “Done is better than perfect” and it’s become my mantra for this week.
The truth is, you can try to write the best email to your prospective client, but the sooner you send it, the more time you have for another email. The same with blogs, presentations, pitches and lots of other things.
I’m not saying that I don’t care about quality, because I do. But in many cases perfecting the smallest details only serves to mask the fear of failure. So I prefer to get things done, rather than get them perfect.
