Video Mode Interface (Pro Version Only)

The Video Mode Interface is meant to be used as an alternative to the Remote Interface. When the interface mode is used you have control of the time and date associated with each vehicle/pedestrian observation. This means that each observation made is not tied to your phones/tablet time but to the one displayed on the screen (which you control). To start collecting data using the interface tap the (+) sign on the main screen of the app and select Four Approaches (Video Mode).

The next screen that appears will ask you to provide the information about the study just as you do for any other study.

After selecting Continue / Start you will be presented with the data collection interface. Notice that the clock will display the current time. However, that time will remain the same unless changed. To change it, long press the clock (tap and hold) until a window appears asking you to specify the date of the study as shown in the figure ahead. Select a date and tap ok. Then, select a time in the next window that appears.

From now own, all vehicle/pedestrian observations made will have the selected time and date associated with it. Now, to change the time forward or backwards tap the (>) and (<) buttons. Once a new time is displayed this time will be associated with each vehicle/pedestrian observation made.
