幾乎台灣每個市場蔬菜攤，都會自動形成市場專有的「市場定位」；有人經營「最便宜菜攤」，有人經營「最稀有菜攤」，還有人經營「蔬菜整理最漂亮菜攤」。

蔬菜一家是興隆市場「蔬菜整理最漂亮菜攤」，就是那種菜攤，會幫顧客把所有蔬菜先拔掉不漂亮部份，把剩下部位修整到幾乎能夠馬上下鍋的程度，才擺出來賣。

有一天，他們夫妻菜攤，多了個眉目清秀年輕人，迅速幫客人裝菜，菜攤老闆娘眼睛發亮地逢人介紹：「這我們兒子，有他在，咱頭家可以輕鬆一點了！」說著說著，母子倆對客人露出燦爛的微笑。
