I fell in love with a family in Haiti...and had only one day to help them.
I first met Chantale when she was living in a displaced person’s camp. She was a single mother of five and had lost everything in the 2010 earthquake. So, I published my first ever CrowdRise fundraiser to try to help her. I wanted to raise $5000 in 24 hours to move her family into a new home. If we hit our goal, I would move her the very next day.
