Their story is a love story. An artist who finds his muse and his life partner in a somewhat unconventional way. They loved, cared for and supported each other for more than twenty years. And now that the artist is gone, it’s up to his partner to carry on his legacy.

Three photos — on the top left are two men with white beards with their arms around each other. On the right side is another photo of a man with a white beard with a large black dog standing up and nuzzling against the man’s chest. The frame features various beads and trinkets attached to it. The third photo on the bottom left is a brightly colored room — the Living Room.

Getting there was the hard part.

While it’s certainly not well known, from the first photos I saw of the place and the stories I read, it moved to the top of my Must See list.
