A Detailed Guide For A Trip To Yosemite National Park
My family and I make sure we plan at least one trip together and spend enough time together, along with making the memories that stay with us forever. This time we planned a trip to a dream destination- Yosemite National Park. This destination remained a part of my wish list, and finally, we were ready to go and explore this place.
We landed at the Yosemite International Airport. It is the best and the closest airport to the park. So, each traveler should look for making bookings for the same. It took us some time to reach our place of accommodation in the national park, “Yosemite Valley Lodge.” If you have set a limited budget for your trip, you must decide to stay outside the park. If you have no budget problem, it is worth spending some extra amount and staying in the park. If you choose to stay outside the park, then ‘Rush Creek Lodge’ and ‘Tenaya Lodge’ are good options.
Here is some of the basic information about this park-
Size: 3,028.8 square kilometres
Location: California, USA
Annual Visitors: 4.42 million as of 2019
Entrance Fee: $15 per person and $30 per vehicle
The minute I entered the park, I knew this place was different from all others, and I felt I just entered another world. It was all about trees, rivers, waterfalls, and the beautiful mountain. If you are planning to visit this park, make sure you spend enough planning for it. Each penny that an individual spends is entirely worth it. This park is known for its cliffs and ancient groves and all other things that nature offers. Whoever visits this place cannot get over the views and vibes of this place. So many photographers and environmentalists have talked a lot about the beauty of this place.
Don’t miss out on these when in Yosemite National Park-
This place is so unreal that every spot feels like a dream and imaginative. There are some things which one should not miss when they visit this place. My family and I searched and explored each spot of this place. These are some of the things that we did during our trip-
• Don’t forget to explore Tioga road- My family went for a drive to enjoy the surreal views of the Yosemite high country. One can get to see both sides when they go on a drive. All of us were awe-struck and enjoying the fresh air of this place. Such places are not in a city.
• Mariposa grove- I am a naturalist. There could not be a better place than mariposa grove to witness those massive and huge trees. All of us enjoyed the views of Sequoia trees. This place has several walking trails too.
• Yosemite falls: Though I get a bit scared of waterfalls, I gathered enough courage to visit this one, and I am so glad I did otherwise; I must have missed a lot. It is the tallest waterfall in North America. All of us clicked many pictures and made many videos to have these memories with us always.
• Tunnel View: For the people living in cities, such views are so hard to find. So, when in this park, get the views from the tunnel. We could see some of the most known places of this destination like Bridalveil fall, EL Capitan, and much more.
I planned a lot before finalizing all the things about this trip. One of the things I find very important is the time of visiting this place. The time of visiting this place depends on an individual and their interests. But according to me, the months of May and June are perfect for this place. This is why I made the bookings for May. There are things which travelers can enjoy only in summers like the waterfalls. If you are a photographer, then autumn is the perfect time as one gets to see the trees changing their colors at this time. Winters are much calmer than other times of the year.
After spending some unbelievable and incomparable days at this destination, it was time to go back home. But at the eleventh hour, I had to make changes in my bookings. Hence, I did it very quickly with American Airlines Manage Booking.
