Trip To St Petersburg — Russia’s Second-Largest And Art-Filled City

My grandparents’ 50th anniversary was approaching, and all of us planned to do something special for them. When we were preparing for their anniversary, we remembered that they always said they wanted to visit abroad and experience air travel. We decided there could not be a better day for completing their wish. We started with the preparation for the trip to ‘St. Petersburg.’ It is one of the most visited and beautiful places in Russia. We made all the bookings for our travel and told our grandparents that we would visit one of their favorite places. They were so overwhelmed after we told them we are going to celebrate their 50th anniversary there only.

Finally, the day came, and we boarded our flight and then landed at the Pulkovo Airport. My grandparents were so emotional and could not believe that they were here in St. Petersburg. After landing, we reached our hotel, ‘Solo Sokos hotel palace bridge.’ It is one of the best accommodation places in St. Petersburg. The next day of the trip started with a lot of excitement. All of us were so stunned by the beauty of this place. We started our day with our visit to the “hermitage museum and the winter palace.” It was a private art collection space, but the public also got access to it after some years. After reminiscing the beauty of art pieces here, we left for “Peterhof palace and garden.” This palace is made so beautifully and has surreal views. Manicured gardens and various foundations make this place look more beautiful and attractive. It was so much fun to spend time with all my family members here. Finally, we headed back to our room as all of us were tired.

The following day we headed to our most favorite place of St. Petersburg, “grand market Russia” after having breakfast at our hotel. This grand market is one of the must-visit places as it showcases Russia’s urban and rural life. It is a place made for people of all ages and one can spend enough time here. After spending some hours here, we headed to “Yusupov Palace.” This palace is also known as the Moika Palace. This place is known for its interior, and the moment we entered the museum, all of us were so pleased to witness such a beautiful place. The interior of this palace is very luxurious and explains the history of Russia very well. There were many other places which we visited and enjoyed-

After returning to our room, we celebrated 50th anniversary and surprised our grandparents with some decoration and cake. The following day, we had our flight back home, and our air journey was too comfortable because we made Allegiant Airlines Reservations. We returned home, and I have never seen my grandparents so happy. Though we are back home physically, all of us are still missing each place of this destination and going through all the pictures and videos we made there. I hope we will soon plan for another trip.
