Tips about Tel Aviv, Israel
Tel Aviv resumes what is Israel: vibrant, open-minded, cosmopolitan and global. Plus the beaches along Mediterranean Sea.
A memory eternally present in my mind: I was in the beach, shirtless around orthodox Jews, Muslims, bikinis of several sizes, gay couples — and everyone respecting each other. A very common scene in Tel Aviv. Where else in Middle East can you imagine such scene?
The city is also recognized worldwide for its vibrant nightlife and for being a gay-friendly destination. Tel Aviv Pride usually happens in June, it is one of the biggest events of this segment in the world. Below, a funny picture from the 2017 edition that can portrait how all opinions are welcome, even the dissatifisfied ones.
What else do we consider when visiting Tel Aviv? Here there is a list.

Fresh Food Markets
Some of the things I love most in Israel are the fresh fruits and the delicious biscuits at the markets. Grapes, cherries, watermelon, dates, plum, apricots. If you love fruits and bakeries, don’t waste the chance of enjoy them! Carmel Market is a must to visit place!
Old Jaffa
Also known as Yafo, Jaffa is one of the oldest ports in the world history, used as harbour since Bronze Age (3.200–600 B.C.) and associated with the biblical story of Jonah.
Under the Arab (from 636 to XVI century) and Otoman (from XVI to XX century), this neighborhood distinguishes from the rest of Tel Aviv for the Otoman architecture with alleys and houses made of stone.
The old buildings in contrast with the Mediterranean Sea give some of the most impressive views of Tel Aviv. Jaffa also hosts a flea market, stores and restaurants.
Neve Tzedek
It was the first Jewish neighborhood built outside the old part of Jaffa. Neve Tzedek is nowadays a fashionable, artistic and expensive neighborhood.
Located next to the beach, Rotschild Boulevard, Carmel Food Market, Nachalat Binyamin market. Along its main streets, concentrates trendy cafes, restaurants, fashion and design studios.
Startup
Israel is a world startup hub — only behind Silicon Valley — with 5.500 startups and 350 R&D centers looking for solution for the most pressing challenges around the world.
