We are Liverpool, tra la la la la! (LFC 2–1 Burnley)
My third time visiting Anfield to see Liverpool was vs Burnley this year. A gutsy 2–1 win capped off a great day. I have a bunch of friends from Evesham, England who are very kind to let us stay with them when we head over to the UK. This time, the gang for the match was Molly, Cris, Hunter, Fraz, and Me. We got tickets through hospitality and had pre and post match meals and drinks down the street at The Sandon.
Goals from Gini Wijnaldum and Emre Can saw the Reds comeback from an early 1–0 deficit to win, bringing my Anfield record to 3 wins, 0 of anything else. After the match and the post match drinks, Hunter was kind enough to drop Molly and Me off at our hotel downtown by the docks for the night before the rest of the lads went back home. Molly and I would continue on up to Scotland for a week for some great sightseeing and general tourist stuff.
