South Africa Visa for Egyptians

The first thing you should think about while doing any trip is the visa for sure.

Egyptians must have a visa printed on the passport before traveling to South Africa. but the Visa process is easy.

South Africa visa requirements

The Visa requirements are easy and not different from any other travel visas

1- Passport (Valid for 3 Months and has 2 empty pages)

2- Passport Copy (If you forgot there is a copy place near the embassy)

3- 2 Passport photos (White background, Facing the camera, the regular rules)

4- Primary Hotel and Flight Booking (you don’t pay for this)

5- Financial situation (3 months bank statement)

6- Proof of income (HR letter, or Company registration, or if you are still not making money get a bank statement of the person funding this trip)

Now you go to the South Africa Embassy

South Africa embassy in Egypt doesn’t require an appointment, you just show up at the doors at there Visa application time

South Africa Visa application time

Monday to Thursday from 9 am to 11 am

If you want to finish faster you should go one day around 10 am and get the Visa application then on the second day you go at 8 am to get an early location on the queue. Travelers show from 8 am at the door and start the queue for who will enter when the door opens.

South Africa Embassy location is in Maadi

South Africa embassy is an easy process

at the first window, someone will check all your papers, makes sure that everything is in order and then gives you a queue number

Remember to take a pen, you might need it to lend it to someone

you will wait till your number is called and visit the next window which is very kind, they will ask you some questions about your trip and then give you a receipt that with which you can collect your passport after 1 week.

Remember that the visa is valid for 30 days only. Start your visa application prior to your trip by 5 weeks max

To Book your hotel you can use Booking.com and check a hotel with payment on arrival or Free cancelation

And to book your Primary flight you can Visit Egypt air offices and they will print you one for free or you can use Travelstar
