Airlines and hotels can be expensive but, there are exceptions you just have to know when and how to find discounts! Fly on a weekday, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually the cheapest times to travel. Stay in a hotel on a sunday, Mondays through Fridays are usually booked from business travelers and Fridays through Saturdays are often booked from tourists so there could be discounts of sundays. Another good time to travel is during shoulder periods. A shoulder period is the off-peak time. Some off-peak times are when kids go back to school (usually Late september), after New years (early January), and right after spring break (usually around late March and middle of April). Airlines and Hotels frequently have discounts. If you want travel with people with busy schedules the best time to travel is during big breaks like summer break, winter break, spring break although the prices might be higher it gives you the most time to prepare and gives everyone the opportunity to go when there are available. The best time for me to travel is when I’m on break from school because I can have plenty of time to plan the vacation and I am able to travel for a good amount of time. If I go on a shorter trip, usually for soccer or to visit family the weekends when I don’t have any prior commitments are always a good time to go on a short trip.
