  1. Walk the city walls — 2km of unbroken fortification with spectacular views of the old town and the Adriatic Sea. Avoid during the heat of the day, views of the ocean are better at sunset anyway.
  2. War Photo Limited — A moving exhibition exploring the journey of refugees to Europe.
  3. Visit Lokrum Island — Only a 15 minute ferry ride from the Old Town Harbour, the island can feel like a haven from the throng of tourists. No cars are on the island and it is illegal to stay the night.
  4. Game of Thrones tour — If you are in King’s Landing then why not? Mix it up with 50/50 GOT and history of Dubrovnik tour to learn how they interact.
  5. Explore the alleyways — The character of the Old Town is built on the charming alleys. Make sure to head up the steps that lead of the main street (Stradum), so of the best restaurants can be found up there.

Bonus tip: if there is time, take a day trip down to the Bay of Kotor just across the border in Montenegro; known as the only fjord outside of Scandinavia.
