The First — Taiwan Trip, Dec. 22, 2015

First kiss, first man on the moon, first to summit or the first ascend on a rock climbing course. Why is the first so important? I’ll let you think about that while I tell you about my first movie.

During my 13-hour overnight layover in San Francisco, I didn’t get much sleep. Luckily, I had the company of numerous museum displays. One of which, was the very first movie I’ve ever seen in theatres — Toy Story, the original! It’s been 20 years!

Toy Story was the first 3D animated movie and the first movie to make Pixar huge. Perhaps it’s the lasting impression as a first that plants its flag in our minds that make firsts impressive.
