Facing North Again
Exactly after an year, its time to pack bags & head to north where fairies are waiting… Time to march once again & this time, we are a group of eleven friends & this makes the journey even more exciting.
The extraordinary beauty of our north has always been an inspiration & it’s something like a “nasha”which keeps on igniting the fire inside of all of us. So, here we are, ready for a journey of our lifetime & waiting anxiously for August 26, 2016 which is our departure date.
The itinerary, this time is a bit different & we’ll be exploring a lot of valleys. The group is also diversified which hopefully will be a lot of fun. Our plan is of nine days from Islamabad to Islamabad & its all road travel.
Aug 26 11:45 hrs : Leaving to Islamabad from Sukkur via flight
Aug 27 00:00 hrs : Leaving Islamabad to Karimabad, via Babusar Pass.
Aug 28 : A day full of activities in Karimabad. Forts for the newcomers & valleys views for the photographers.
Aug 29 : Leaving Karimabad to Gulmit, while exploring Passu & Borith Lake on the way.
Aug 30 : Exploring KKH all the way to Khunjrab top & coming back to Karimabad.
Aug 31 : Leaving Karimabad to Naltar Valley & hike to lake while staying at Gahkuch.
Sep 1 : Leaving Gahkuch to explore Shandoor top & staying at Mastuj.
Sep 2 : Leaving Mastuj to Kalash Valley
Sep 3 : A day at Kalash valley & spending time with the locals.
Sep 4 : Leaving Kalash to Islamabad & it’ll over then…
