Dinesh, what do startups building next generation travel tech products need to understand about the industry evolution and future opportunities?

Innovation is not just come up with a unique idea, innovation is understanding the public needs and bring this unique idea to reality. For travelers, mobile-based technology is the most convenient. And the advancement of one-click experience has been great. I believe there are potential for startups to focus on the predictions of your needs, based on the specifics of the trip.

What are some of your favorite travel tech products, projects or innovation initiatives that the industry should be paying attention to?

There are some apps and technologies that I personally use to make my trip smoother and convenient, for example, Trail Wallet is an app that keeps me in the budget. Hotel Tonight for last minute hotels bookings, where I just choose the neighborhood and the hotel stars and I book my accommodation. The third, Uber when you go to a country that you don’t speak the language is one of the best apps, you just type the address down where you are and don’t need to say even hi to the driver. Also for road trips, CarVi device, can capture the experience on the road and brings safety in mind.
