Good times! Thank you for coming to celebrate with us our special news — we were really happy to see so many old friends and so many new faces!

What happened at Travel Tech Con 2017?

What’s coming for Travel Tech Con in 2018?

Marina talked about the future of Travel Tech Con and introduced some exciting plans for 2018. Some highlights:

  • After over 2 years of working on Travel Tech Con as a side project, Marina quit her UX design day job to work on TTC full time — all in!
  • Travel Tech Con 2018 is announced to take place June 7–9 in San Francisco. Special tickets pre-sale is open now!
  • Our first Travel Tech Con Europe is coming in September 2018!
  • A very special hackathon linking TTC18 in San Francisco and Europe is in the making. Stay tuned!
  • TTC18 will have a major portion of the program dedicated to travel startups — sign up for pitch and demo opportunities.
  • TTC18 Startup Full Passes will be released in January 2018 and this year startup full passes are $300 cheaper than regular passes!
  • Always wanted to be part of a badass team behind an independent tech conference in San Francisco? Volunteer with us!

What is Winding Tree up to?

Norm Rose introduced Winding Tree — first decentralized, Blockchain based travel distribution platform driven by the community of developers. Norm’s slides here.

What’s up with the new non profit Foundation we are incorporating in the Crypto Valley in Switzerland?

Travel Tech Con is joining forces with Winding Tree to become part of Winding Tree Foundation. Together, we aim to enable and facilitate open, permission-less innovation in the travel tech community. It’s about time! More on that.

What’s the deal with the new Blockchain travel distribution platform?

Arseniy Klempner introduced Winding Tree platform and its implications for the travel tech industry. Arseniy’s slides here. Whitepaper also available here.
