Traxalt, a new cryptocurrency, will be attending the spring/summer edition of the Malta A.I. & Blockchain Summit. The Blockchain Island will hold its second semiannual summit from May 22ndto May 25th. Traxalt will host the blockchain investment and future of digital money conference on May 24th. Their goal is to educate people on blockchain investment and the future of digital money.

In 2018, Malta passed 3 legislations to legitimize and propel the innovation and application of blockchain technology. Malta is taking the lead as the first country in the world to fully assimilate this relatively young technology. While many other countries are unsure how to regulate and to what extent embrace blockchain technologies and cryptocurrencies, the island has taken an assertive step towards more research and applications of blockchain. According to Malta’s Primer Minister, Joseph Muscat, blockchain is the future, and Malta proposes a place where this technology can reach its potential. The summit is expecting over 5,000 attendees in the Spring/Summer edition while they have scheduled many key speakers that are important leaders in the world of technology. It is also expected that the Maltese government enacts a fourth bill, giving a D.A.O. its own legal personality.

Traxalt announced that it will start its public sale on the first week of June. According to the whitepaper published on their website, Traxalt seeks to solve the problem of speed other cryptocurrencies are facing. Traxalt is based on the third generation blockchain STELLAR allowing them to process an average of 160,000 transaction a day. Meanwhile, Traxalt already has over 680,000 holding accounts pointing towards a promising future.
