As mentioned in our previous interview, Atasco is one of our local homegrown distributors of dairy products. Apart from stocking their products on their website and at supermarkets and various online shopping sites, you can now find them on the treatsure app as well!

If you haven’t been opening our app these days (if so please check it out right now), some of Atasco’s latest offerings include Planted’s range of vegan mylks (aka dairy alternatives), as well as Delamere Dairy’s UHT Whole Goat Milk.

If you’re lucky, you might also find special treats like The Collective’s milk kefir — a fermented drink that aids digestion. There may also be Rachel’s rich and creamy organic Greek-style yogurts and Divine Rice pudding, Delamere Dairy’s goat’s yogurt and Muller Corner’s chocolate balls — which are made from rice puffs!

Thanks to Atasco, our team at treatsure had the opportunity to try The Collective’s Milk Kefir with Coconut and Honey, two flavours of Rachel’s Organic Yogurt, and Planted’s range of four vegan mylks.

Certainly, the product that our team was most excited to try was — The Collective’s Milk Kefir with Coconut and Honey. After a round of taste-testing for our IG story, our team came to a consensus that the unique drink tasted like sparkling, creamy milk or a sparkling yogurt drink with a distinctively strong tang. After trying the kefir, our team embarked on taste-testing for Rachel’s Organic Greek Style Lemon Yogurt (see photo below), and the Greek Style Cherry Yogurt. Our interns unanimously exclaimed their love for the lemon, which tasted like luscious, liquid lemon cheesecake in a tub. The cherry was on the sweeter side. We can see treatsurers with a sweet-tooth loving that more!

Moving on to the Planted range of vegan drinks, our team tried the Oat Drink with Banana, Oat Drink with Date & Vanilla, Coconut Drink with Cocoa and Almond Drink with Coffee.

The Oat Drink with Banana was on the sweeter side, with a natural banana flavour. The flavour profile is reminiscent of a delicious banana oatmeal breakfast. This flavour would be well-loved by banana fans!

The Oat Drink with Date & Vanilla on the other hand had a subtle barley-like twist according to one of our interns. However, the rest of the team agreed that there was no discernible taste of barley — proof that taste is indeed very subjective. This was the sweetest out of all four flavours, which would make it a crowd-pleaser amongst the dessert lovers.

The Coconut Drink with Cocoa tasted like liquid chocolate, with a rich taste of cocoa and a hint of coconut. This would be a hit amongst the chocolate-loving friends amongst us.

Last but not least, the Almond Drink with Coffee tasted like subtly sweetened coffee, with a hint of almond. This would be the choice of our caffeine-loving colleagues on the way to work or school!

You can snag all of the items mentioned above on our treatsure shelves at Unpackt’s outlets via our #newshelflife collaboration with UnPackt, or via delivery from Atasco after ordering from the treatsure app, while treasures last. The range of products on the app refreshes from time to time depending on our suppliers’ stocks — which is what keeps the treatsure food saving experience fresh and fun!
