iOS 7 - a step in the right direction

The design of iOS is like a maze, at the center of this maze is a perfect interface. iOS 1 through 6 has been carefully navigating one winding path getting closer and closer to the center but then it hit a dead end.

Clearly this was not the route to the center so they were left with no choice but to turn around, retrace their steps to seek a turning. iOS 7 is the first steps along this new path, it’s very different to the old one and although they are further from the center now than they were when they reached the dead end they will now be able to proceed along this path and get closer than was possible with the other route.

Sometimes when navigating a maze, the right direction isn’t always directed towards the center.
