The ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine has spilled over into cyberspace, with hackers from both sides launching attacks on each other’s websites and infrastructure. However, a new player has entered the fray: Indian hackers, who have claimed to support Israel and target Palestinian assets.

According to Times Now, a pro-India hacker group called Indian Cyber Troops has hacked into the official Hamas website, the Palestinian National Bank, and the National Telecommunications Company. They have left messages on the hacked websites, such as “We have done this to show our support for Israel. We are not afraid of anyone. We are Indian hackers.”

The Indian hackers’ involvement comes after Islamic hacktivist groups like Anonymous Sudan and Mysterious Team Bangladesh have targeted Israeli websites, such as the Iron Dome missile defense system and the Jerusalem Post newspaper. They have also accused India of supporting Israel and attempted to hack Indian government websites, such as Delhi government and AIIMS. However, Indian cyber security has successfully defended against these attacks and retaliated by hacking Palestinian websites and assets.
