It’s been a while, and we’ll keep it short. While Trenta OS has been gone for about 4 years now, we felt it was right to memorialize some of our and our communities’ contributions.
The Trenta.io Site
Last November we updated our site to give some info on all of the projects we created and worked on. In an effort to educate those who just found out about Trenta OS, or those who feel nostalgic, you’ll find snippets about projects such as Trenta OS, Icons, and Frostlock along with some review highlights we’ve received over the years. You can check that our here.
Trenta OS Experience
How does one share a modern operating system experience right in a web browser? It’s difficult, if not impossible. Screenshots and videos are great but only tell some of the story. We focused on the UI and brought over what we could to the Trenta OS | UI Web Demo. If you’re feeling sentimental, or curious you can find that on our site, or the link above. Of course it doesn’t hold a candle to a fully functional Linux OS, but we think of it instead like an interactive screenshot.
