There’s a weird thing that happens when i get parched. Can’t sleep. Can’t breathe. Can’t really talk properly. Throat is itchy, and eyes get buggy.

Dryness in skin lately, since 2017–2022, my skin went from dewy to dry.

It focusses all my energy to finding the least humid place to be -in air conditioning, and making my body less warm.

Maybe it was the heat, or the prospect of being totally acclimated to southeast asia — with an occasional trip or two home to places in the winter. But, the entire ecosystem of being in the water, or just drinking loads of it during the day — and instead of the hot, steamy cocoa and milk, would be a steamy drink of tea for bedtime.

Perhaps, the reason we actually need to hydrate, is to self-adjust temperature at all times. And the older our species get, the more it needs to watch how the sun becomes either part of our lives (solar power), as a source of energy, as well as bad UV if we stay under it too long.

These days, i am seasonal thinker-hydrator-temperate skin searcher, in one. When we were all young, it wasn’t such an issue, but massive congestion in today’s environs make for more pollutants in the air — much more for carbon monoxide walking along streets with cars in them. Over time, its effects can be seen in our skin, digestive systems, and the way we live our lives are dependent on the power source with the least bad effects in its output.

Somehow, the generation become really occluded in this decision -as it just “happens to them”, but with a more just path ahead with younger generations, hopefully we gear towards a more empathic way of life — where people know it’s bad, and know how to veer everyone away from bad decisions.

Healthcare, was a massive outcome of community talks - i was with friends at school, with uni and college talks round the bend. And the way things are, shouldn’t make for contentedness when everyone else in the room is coughing, or ill, or needing a more permanently balanced lifestyle.

This starts with water.

(For me, at least).

A spritz of agua, and a massive generational incidence that bridges the gap between peace undertaking, and a ruinous relationship - drinking binge from the night before, is a task for advanced social committees - to possibly seek out and just, work out (solve, not head to the gym for).
