Dear contributors, fintech readers, fellow treps, founders, vests, & tech incubator trep-watchers:
Thanks for reading, and happy to be still here since 2014 — a good solid seven years since the first pivot to Treptrips, from the “HaveBeansWillBrew” 2014 blog.
After starting this tentatively from my happy discovery of markup / simpler blogging here at medium.com, i happily write (on the daily, and edit bi-weekly), cheekily café-hop to spy on treps, madly find events to track where what, who, and how (while i rail on how the Em dash is frustrating in copping out the double-back En dash) — and yet, i have never looked back since.
Creating sharing tools, and finding more sharing places, while finding where to improve - becomes more exciting when we collaborate with stacks of technology-enthusiasts and hard-core tech groups/ startup funders, who get together in events, and micro-funded spaces.
What we lack in global knowledge, makes up for local trepping leeway, where we get community-savvy as well as getting a knack on when to scale, and how - without sacrificing the original intent and formats that we had wanted to make.
Thank you for all your patience, and for putting up with grammatical/spelling mistakes. After 5 publications, 3 blogs, 4 fledgling startups, 11 years working in a more corporate client-and-advertising, and 20 years in the tech trep-space, i think this was a newsletter worth sending.
