Setting the pace for thanksgiving weekend, Friday nights are about the new experiences, where the dead tired places now replaces the yields of the few.

Let’s get personal.

Revivals: The Beach, the theatre, out of town to nearby countries. Today I’m hitting up the Bermuda Triangle of weekend places: Keong Saik Rd area that perimeters eating places cropping up in savvy hipster enclave where after 10 rooftop drinks are bequeathed to the young and the really restless. (That’s mostly everyone.)

I think the exciting areas of work-PLAY-social. I think it may be a conundrum for the books when there is a dilemma of understanding the quiet nature of people versus interactions. There is nothing ever quiet about the nature of PLAY, nor social, so if the true-to-yourself types are out, this is one of the places you need to see, and surrender to for a weekend.

If you’re from out of town, you just need to switch your payment systems to SGD, and then you’re mobile-ready to roam and explore.

1/ Uber cabs accepts payments from card. Also, local application grab taxi does well with local areas.

2/ Most establishments accept network MasterCard / Visa except the quaint corner “kopi” houses which serve yummy delicacies 24/7.

3/ Exchange centers are in basements of most malls, so you can prepare ahead with your wads of local if not from the banks closing at 4pm daily.

4/ Clothing — as you are, no flipflops where you credit card. (Dancing places are trainers, full stop.)

5/ Everything else, follow your inner guidebooks. :)

Or read my other article for a #NewResto experience.
