So, to wrap up this rag’s 2022 innovation banquet of change before the Christmas weekend, i made a short questionnaire (what else is new), to celebrate the coming of all things “New”.

1/ When you secretly are gifted by a Santa, do you:

• pass it on, and gift someone else. (It will save you the trip to return it to shop, and get something in your size.)
• or, leave a thank you note, and bask in the thought that someone likes you, wherever you are, and however lapsed your friendships were through the years?

2/ Having not undergone social manners 101, how do you get her (that apple of your eye’s) number, do you:

• ask. risking life, limb and social impropriety.
• or, course it indirectly through ringing-a-friend, or via ringing-her-friend, pretending it was a survey or something interesting.

3/ When gifting that someone special this year, how do you know what they exactly want, when you aim to please? To find out, do you:

• find out via her closest friends, arranging a get-together with giveaways in exchange for trivial information.
• or, know her social media - and stalk her.

4/ What would you buy, if you just had these two in your budget this year:

• a Tesla — maybe a Y series, or the new S or Y, a white one.
• or, a red Corvette.

5/ How do you make sure someone knew that you cared for them, and they could call you — as more than just an acquaintance, would you:

• find their email, or postal / school or work address, to write them a note and inquire about their lives, and make sure there is no confusion about your regard.
• tell them, and send them distracting notes daily. But funnily assume that it was just nothing.

6/ Where would you travel if you had a round trip tickets for two for a week?

• kyoto, of course - travel with nature, for calm and sense of balance.
• somewhere with a music festival and winter blizzards, like iceland.

7/ Who would you bring to your *Free Holiday?

• a special someone i could ask, or text, or email two weeks ahead for.
• someone who was free during that time.

Secret Santa, is a childhood game, that evolved into a small group of friends’ (usually all women) way of expressing their bond of friendship through the years.

There’s an app to generate the names that you draw from a hat — a circle of five friends would keep it secret, and give gifts from the 16th onwards. To make it a countdown to Christmas, expressed in gifts.
