In this article, we’ll explain all you need to know about staking your TRL tokens in one of our staking pools. Please note that token holders first need to get whitelisted to be able to stake TRL tokens.

👉 November 26 update: staking is now also available on BSC. Therefore, this article has been updated to explain the key steps for both ETH and BSC staking.

In a previous article we’ve shared all the key details of our staking pools (e.g. APR %, contribution period, max. contribution, etc.). In this article, we explain how to stake your TRL tokens in one of the staking pools on our staking platform — triall.io/staking.

Staking requirements

First, here are the key requirements to be able to stake:

  • You need to be whitelisted to be able to join a staking pool (whitelist here).
  • You need a MetaMask wallet to be able to interact with the staking platform.
  • You need both TRL and ETH in your wallet (or BNB if you’re staking on BSC).
  • If you’re on mobile, please use the built-in browser in your MetaMask mobile app, the dApp browser.

How to stake TRL tokens

Here are the 9 key steps towards staking your TRL tokens:

STEP 1. Whitelist your address(es) using Gleam. To whitelist yourself, go to this Gleam page, register your ETH and/or BSC address, and conduct 20 tasks centred around familiarizing yourself with the Triall project and promoting Triall within your network. Whitelist once, to get access to all future TRL staking pools.

STEP 2. Install the MetaMask browser plugin: Interacting with our staking platform is facilitated through MetaMask. Without the MetaMask browser plugin and a MetaMask-competable web browser you will not be able to stake your TRL tokens.

STEP 3. Purchase TRL on Uniswap or PancakeSwap. Here’s a guide on how to buy TRL on Uniswap and on PancakeSwap. Alternatively, if you participated in our pre-sale, here’s a guide on how to claim TRL on our website triall.io. Please ensure that these tokens end up in your MetaMask wallet.

STEP 4: Ensure you have enough ETH or BNB: Make sure that your MetaMask wallet contains enough ETH or BNB (depending on your platform of choice) to cover transaction fees for interacting with the staking platform.

STEP 5: Visit our staking platform. Go to triall.io/staking.

STEP 6: Pick your staking pool. Select the staking pool you wish to contribute to and click the ‘stake’ button.

STEP 7: Connect your wallet. Connect your MetaMask wallet to the staking pool smart contract.

STEP 8: Stake your TRL tokens. Decide the amount of TRL tokens that you want to stake from your available balance, click submit, and you will receive a prompt regarding the transaction fee. If it looks good, then confirm. This is the first fee (‘approve’ transaction).

Wait until the transaction status changes from pending to complete. DO NOT SUBMIT MULTIPLE APPROVE TRANSACTIONS — THIS MAY LEAD TO LOSS OF GAS FEES.

After clicking ‘confirm’, another prompt will come up showing the gas fee. If it looks good, then save, and click ‘confirm’. This is the second fee (‘stake’ transaction).

The TRL staking program is powered by DeFi company Ferrum Network.
