Presenting our new Chief Medical Officer: Arno Bisschop, MD, PhD

The Triall team has welcomed Dr. Arno Bisschop as its newest addition to the team. Arno joins Triall as Chief Medical Officer, building on his experience as medical doctor and entrepreneur in the healthcare space. He will be closely involved in tailoring our value proposition to the needs of research sites and will serve as a key spokesperson to the healthcare community.

Arno has a background as a medical doctor (MD) with a focus on orthopedic- and neurosurgery, in which he defended his PhD and shortly after finished his master’s in management and policy analysis in health and life sciences (MSc). Simultaneously to his medical career, he has been an entrepreneur for almost 10 years now. Arno successfully co-founded, built, and led several companies in the healthcare space focusing on sustainable employability, with a clear focus on medical doctors.

Friends and colleagues describe him as a connecting personality. Arno’s ability to bridge (cultural) gaps between people and different fields of expertise has proven to add value to healthcare. As a person but moreover through his entrepreneurial activity, Arno contributed greatly to the support and strengthening of the workforce within the clinical community.

Arno on Triall: “For years stakeholders in the clinical community have tried to solve its challenges within the paradigm in which these challenges arose. Within the clinical community, demands (regulatory requirements, clinical care et cetera) are continuously increasing. Meanwhile the people who comprise this community have -increasingly- been showing signs of exhausting. The time is now to bring inspiring people together to create innovative solutions in a different -technological- paradigm. All to increase the overall quality of this beautiful sector while granting its accessibility for everyone. At Triall, inspiring people meet and already showed that real innovation is not something in the future but is right here, right now.”

Arno’s medical background, entrepreneurial experience, and interpersonal skills are invaluable to the further growth of our ecosystem and its user base.

We are very happy to have him on board!
