Trias Grant: The Research for Quadratic Voting

The first phase of Trias Grant is finally going online. The initiator is DAOeco. The theme of the grant is “The Research for Quadratic Voting”.

What is DAOeco?

Initiated by the Trias community, DAOeco is an organization focusing on the research of token economic model. DAOeco is a group of economy enthusiasts from all over the world, including economists, researchers, university professors, etc., who endeavor to put forward a reasonable economic mechanism and governance model through theoretical research, to provide an efficient and feasible scheme for the certificate economy design of the project.

DAOeco will collect ideas from the community, conduct researches and analysis, and design a token economic scheme and model.

The Research for Quadratic Voting

One of the recent research directions of DAOeco is to design a Quadratic voting scheme for Trias Grant. Quadratic voting is a relatively fair voting method. Compared with one person one vote and one token one vote, Quadratic voting can expand the influence of ordinary people in participating in community governance, curb the control of the rich over the community, and let more people benefit from community governance.

This study will propose a more decentralized verification method based on the Quadratic Voting to prevent Sybil Attack in the Quadratic Voting, to make the voting results fairer, and to conform to the community wishes to the greatest extent.

At the same time, a token model will be designed to improve the scarcity of TRIAS tokens by changing the supply mode on the premise of ensuring demand.

DAOeco will receive grants from the community. In return, grant contributors can obtain the memorial NFT from DAOeco.

Grant Guideline

• Get TRIAS from exchanges and withdraw to your personal BSC wallet.
• Open Trias Grant website: grant.trias.one
• Choose the first grant named “The Research for Quadratic Voting” and click “Connect”.
• Connect your personal wallet and grant your TRIAS to support the project.
• Wait for the grant to end.
• If the project is successfully launched, the initiator can use the corresponding TRIAS token to organize the related activities. Meanwhile, you will be notified of the progress.
• You will get the memorial NFT from DAOeco as a recognition and appreciation from this grant.
• If the project is failed (raised less than the soft cap), your TRIAS will be returned.
