In class this past week we made a website for companies with a job that involves computing. You had to use CSS stylesheet and HTML. First, we researched a company that has a job involving computing, we chose IT technicians at Eastman Credit Union. We chose Eastman Credit because of they're local and we knew it would be interesting to us. We knew we needed color so we picked a dark blue which is one of their colors and it's pretty eye-catching and easy to read. The reason we used the color because it resembles their color so therefore it would look like their site. We left the background color white. Eye-catching pictures were a must, so we got their logo at the top and in bold words, it says “Eastman Credit Union”.

I think it will catch the eyes of the reader and make them wanna read it. Then we put a photo showing we got job openings to let them know we need people for these jobs.

Then we the problem we had was we were trying to put the two pictures next to each other but we didn’t know. We figured out that we needed columns and we could put them side by side. We did that then the pictures were centered to the right of their columns, so we had to figure out how to middle aline them in their columns. After that, we wrote a paragraph about the company and the benefits of the job and what you will do in the job. Then we got a picture of one of the facilities. Then we aligned it to the middle and we put a list of benefits. We added the social links at the bottom.

When we presented we knew to look at our audience we decided he was gonna describe our company and I was gonna talk about our style and why we styled it the way we did. I think we did good at our presentation. Overall we did pretty well and we really didn’t get off task. He did a lot of our research and I did a lot of code. He helped me with some of the code I didn’t get. We finished early so it gave a lot of time to proofread and make it better.
