Tribl Houston Village Activation
6/26/18 was a night to remember during Immigrant Heritage Month. Different tribes came together to celebrate cultural identities. And what better place to celebrate culture than in America’s most diverse city, Houston, Texas, during Immigrant Heritage Month. We partnered with FWD.us in preparation to launch a “Dreamers” tribe for those in support of DACA recipients. The successful activation brought together a diverse group of private guests, including comedian Dulo Harris & DJ Omu.
If you haven’t heard about Tribl yet, allow me to introduce you to the newest social messaging app that blends culture & relationships. Tribl moves away from the 90’s chat room feel by creating real connections and providing you with the most powerful social directory right at your finger tips. - Profile: Imagine walking into a bar in Dallas, and seeing a group of people in Houston Rockets jerseys, somebody’s getting dapped up! We give you the context you need to be comfortable saying hello. (Just kidding Mavericks fans and good luck to Houston’s very own, Deandre!)
- Discovery: Looking for actual Brazilians so you can continue celebrating the World Cup on their bandwagon? Discover exactly what your vibe is looking for. Find your tribe. (Shoutout to some of my tribe Nadia, Amaka, & Carin and thanks Houston’s Umo Igbo Unite Chapter for a fun night.)
