It’s time to get a haircut

Trine is growing up, from a rebellious teenager to a rebellious adult. A new era deserves a new outfit. Something that suits our highly ambitious goals. We hereby welcome Trine 2.0.

Trine logotype and name evolution.

Shaping our identity

At first, branding sounded complicated and frankly a bit scary. Where do you even start? Should we really do this ourselves, or hire an agency? In the end we came to the conclusion: No one can decide who we are, except us.

Let’s change the world (no pressure)

You should come to our office. No really. The passion that lives within our team is contagious. I think the team spirit is very much reflected by our product. Together we create change — every day. We’re here to change the world, and we shouldn’t be afraid to show that. That’s why we’re now inviting everyone to our Triniverse.

This phrase became our northern star for our the look and feel of our brand.

The epic brand

The main inspiration for our brand is the very world we live in 🌍, corny as it may sound. Imagine taking the perspective of the sun, hovering over our beautiful blue-green planet (let’s also pretend you have no fear of heights). Imagine getting the same feeling in the morning traffic in Gothenburg on a Monday in January. That’s what we want to achieve. Again, no pressure…

The living brand

A brand is just like all living things — constantly adapting to new realities. The one thing that will never change for us is the triple P: People Planet & Profit. It’s in our name (Trine actually means three), and it’s in the very heart of our product.

We’re always evolving, but the three layers in our heart is constant.

The human brand

We want to be a magnet for good stuff, including good people. There is no “them” and “us” . Our vision can only become a reality if we all work together, from solar customers to Trine employees. We’re all Triners.

Solar customer Mary Muthoku & Trine investor Henrik Thorgersen Tveter.

The new normal

We want to be copied and we embrace competition. The more companies that understand the power of profit with purpose, the bigger steps we take towards a better future.

Now the real work starts, this is just the beginning. Tag along!
