Recently, team members of Trinity have been invited to several conferences and forums where they discussed with leading figures in blockchain about new opportunities in 2018. The core developer of Trinity, Mr. Liu Yuan, demonstrated key technologies of Trinity off-chain scaling solution at Neo Shenzhen MeetUp on March 24.

State channel layer provides the most fundamental P2P state channel services to Trinity. State channels are developed as parties to a transaction put up their assets as collaterals, and create smart contracts as endorsement for follow-up off-chain transactions.

Liu Yuan said, it is difficult to commercialize blockchain projects due to high latency and low throughput, while off-chain scaling solution is the best way out. Among all mainstream off-chain scaling solutions, state channels provide users with instant and private payment, thus addressing the issue of scarce spatial resources in blockchain.

At the meetup, Liu Yuan said the key technologies of Trinity state channels are: Multisignature、RSMC、HTLC.

Rather than a primary transaction processing layer, in state channels technology, blockchain represents a settlement layer that processes final transactions generated by a series of interactions and settles disputes through arbitration. State channels keep the way underlying blockchain protocols operate, but only change the way they are used in order to address the challenge of scalabity.

At the same time, co-founder of Trinity, Mr. Zhang Guangfeng participated in Blockonomy Shanghai 2018 held by Quanerliren where he discussed the potential and future of blockchain technology with the participants at the roundtable.

Mr. Zhang shared his observations on how the trend in blockchain will play out in its commercial application. He pointed out the pain points in the current blockchain industry, that is, “more employers than employees”, by which he meant the biggest obstacle to the development of blockchain is a lack of high-end people.

In the future, there will be more demand for blockchain professionals. Blockchain people, from developers to marketing people, will be the founding stones that drive the development of blockchain.

Trinity will continue to be a part of blockchain discussions. We will share with community members our technical outcomes and ideas about the industry to promote the robust and continuous development of the Trinity ecosystem.
