According to the surveys conducted to explore the reason behind the hike in prices is the monopoly of airlines and the people itself who have raised so much demand for flights that they are ready to pay any amount for traveling by air.

Many times, from last two years, a solution is raised that there have to be a criteria of affordable ticket prices which can fit into everyone’s pocket but still no such rule is decided and there are no fixed rules to calculate the airfare. In such cases, the airlines raise their prices without thinking of the after effects of the situation and the passengers have to suffer.

The plane tickets must be set as per the fixed criteria like distance, country — country duty charges, etc. The service industry is to serve, not to earn the profit. For the small profit, the airline’s especially private domestic airlines should not lose the respect and dignity which the airlines have earned over the years.
