Trippie is a mobile app that takes the guesswork and turbulence out of navigating big airports. Travelers no longer need to visit buggy apps and webpages for every airport they visit. The app allows travelers to explore a detailed, interactive map for any airport they visit and immediately get the lay of the land.
Our beta is first launching at San Francisco International Airport and is available today for iPhone and iPad. We can’t wait for Trippie to have an immediate impact on the lives of travelers and make their lives easier.
Why Trippie?
Travelers tend to settle for what’s close because they do not know what’s far away. Currently, there is no mobile based service that’s focused on helping travelers see nearby food options, as only individual airport websites hold this information. Trippie helps travelers to move away from the days of looking through a confusing airport directory or walking 10 gates in the opposite direction in order to find their way. Trippie makes finding your way around airports incredibly easy as the app uses GPS tracking to pinpoint your location in the airport. We make every traveler’s airport experience unique and personal.
How to find eats with Trippie
Trippie is a travel app (available for iPhone and iPad) that allows travelers to explore an interactive map of the airport. The app allows you to log in through Facebook, Google, or Trippie email authorization. From there you can select a restaurant from the home page. You also have to ability to find a restaurant on the map and see how long it will take for you to walk there. Walking directions will be available in early 2017.
Arrive to your final destination prepared
Trippie has numerous add-on features that ease the stress of landing in a new city. Trippie accesses the Uber Ride Request API to allow users to request rides directly from our app. In addition, Trippie also allows users to search for maps of over 200 airports worldwide using the Airport Terminal Map Source.

We will expand from SFO and move into other airports starting in early 2017. We are really excited for the road ahead and are very much looking forward to improving the airport experience. Travel is supposed to be fun — with Trippie, it stays that way.
