One of the southern states of India, Tamil Nadu is known for its traditions, classicals and folklore. Tamil Nadu tourism had always been fascinating for its avid travellers. Its mesmerising temples, serene beaches and exotic natural beauty are what people get attracted to. When you are in Tamilnadu, you can explore all these natural bounties of this beautiful land at your own pace and convenience.

Tamil Nadu hits a hattrick in foreign tourist arrivals, tops in attracting domestic travels in 2016 because of its ethnicity. Along with its old customs, it is also famous for its Bharatnatyam classical dance that is originated from Tamil Nadu. It is also one of the enthralling destinations to travel because it is home to one of humanity’s oldest remaining living classical civilisations- the Dravidian civilisation. Hence, making it rich in history.

Chennai, its capital is home to the locality found in tamil nadu and also to the Marina beach. its historic neighbourhood, Mylapore is often looked upon when one visits Chennai for its one of the oldest lord shiva temples.

Pondicherry (Puducherry) is often a place for for explorers, beach lovers, and experience-seekers interested in the French culture and architecture.

For its wildlife exploration, one must visit Mudumalai. While for its splendid waterfalls, Hogennakal has various getaways. Madurai known famously for its Meenakshi temple is a place where you can explore more of the ancient rich culture and visit the Gandhi museum and Vagai dam.

A beautiful temple town, Chidambaram can leave you in awe for the various glorified temples and its diversity. Mahabalipuram, another seaside place to relax at also has huge carvings depicting the great Hindu epic- mahabharata.

Rameshwaram temples can literally be used to explore is huge carved pillars, roam around on the vast beaches, and indulge in water sports. Thanjavur is where one can sit and admire the grandeur of Vijayanagar fort and visit the popular Brihadeshwara Temple. Along with that, also explore the Shiva Ganga Garden and the Palace. Ooty, Kodaikanal and conoor are some of the most beautiful hill stations one can find. Their explicit abbi waterfalls and the natural relaxation one finds in these areas is something one cannot compare.

Incredibly, tamil Nadu seems to fit widely and as generously into the characteristics that explains its historic culture, beauty and magnificence.
