And so we left Capri at5.30 pm fora evenings sailing and tomorrow. afull day. At sea saying goodbye to Messina and any body parts left on the side of the. Road. As the yacht leaves each port as I have said previously, today I tried to capture the excitement of the departure , I will try and load a video late

this post has now taken us to Venice,we lost internet connection once we got to Croatia and it has been a long and difficult exercise to “……. Type and lose it , type and lose it , etc etc .

Still can’t load the video, but I will get there eventually !!!!

As far as the walking wounded ,Trish’s hand has healed miraculously and my arm is well on the mend , pulling the plasters of my hairy arm makes me weep.

And so a quite day at sea, the early risers fighting for the prime location sun beds, luckily we are past all that , there is enough to do without laying in the sun all day, as it was I went on a tour of the engine room.

from the engine room you could see how old the yacht really is, where the topside of the vessel has been updated and modernized, the engine room has remained as was , with things like no overhead clearances , stepping over pipes, would not go down well with today’s regulations, this is obviously not of concern because the yacht runs so well.
