We have been here in Mar MENOR for nearly three weeks chilling out , what a great place to do it in. the weather since we have been here has not dropped below 20 c in the day and I don’t know what it is of a night because it does not matter!!!

Played four games of golf , three different courses, I have Nicks new clubs and Trish has hired set , in the hired set there is a RESCUE CLUB ,(for those who play golf you will know what I am talking about) anyway this club has taken ten shots off her game, now she wants to know how I am going to get it back to Canada.

On the waterfront of Mar MENOR,there is a eight meter wide paved walking. Biking path that goes for about sixteen km , so we go to different parts of it and walk for hours, funny thing is there is not a soul around, apart from the odd Brit who lives here , everything is locked up for the winter and sometimes it is quite eirey.Differant areas of the manor coastline are a little bit more populated than other and it is basically the length between San Pedro del Pinatar and Cartagena , or La Manga which ever you know better.

We went to La Manga for the day one day, what a weird experience, we traveled the length of the peninsula, maybe 30 km,over 100 apartment blocks and hotels, and all of it closed down for the winter, the temperature was about 18 c the day we where there,I cannot imagine the congestion that is here in the holiday season with there only being one road in and out of the whole peninsula.

Cartagena was also a nice surprise, we didn’t realize how big and how historical this city was, the main problem with our visit was however the whole place closed down at 1.00pm

We need to return here during our stay to do the historical tour.

On Friday we take off for a 5day interlude in Madrid, with day trip to Toledo included we fly Murcia. Madrid. Murcia so it should be quite straight forward ,will blog later when we return.
